YOUR SAFARI DAY-BY-DAY

Day 1: Johannesburg/Pretoria to the Kruger National Park

Drive with your guide or fly from Johannesburg to a town near to the Kruger National Park and transfer into the reserve. Afternoon game viewing with your guide in the Ashtons vehicle. Sundowners followed by a delicious buffet dinner at the camp restaurant. Overnight in comfortable en suite bungalows at a Kruger Rest Camp. Meal plan: Dinner

Day 2 & 3: Kruger National Park

Sunrise guided game drive (3 hours) in an open game viewing vehicle, led by Kruger Park rangers, and accompanied by your Ashtons guide. Hearty buffet breakfast at the camp restaurant followed by leisure time relaxing in the camp and enjoying the facilities on offer. Alternatively spend all or part of the day game viewing in the air-conditioned Ashtons vehicle, driven by your qualified Ashtons guide. Sunset guided game drive (3 hours) in an open game viewing vehicle with Kruger rangers, using spotlights after dark. Buffet dinner at the camp restaurant followed by a comfortable night in your en suite bungalows at a Kruger Rest Camp. Meal plan: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 3: Alternative Option

(Note: Availability of this alternative is dependant on location of overnight camps)

Sunrise guided game drive (3 hours) in an open game viewing vehicle, led by Kruger Park rangers, and accompanied by
your Ashtons guide. Hearty buffet breakfast at the camp restaurant. Exit Kruger in the air-conditioned Ashtons vehicle,
driven by your qualified Ashtons guide, and explore some of scenic Mpumalanga. Return to Kruger in time for your sunset
guided game drive (3 hours) in an open game viewing vehicle with Kruger rangers, using spotlights after dark. Buffet dinner
at the camp restaurant followed by a comfortable night in your en suite bungalows at a Kruger Rest Camp. Meal plan: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 4: Kruger National Park to Johannesburg/Pretoria via the Panorama Route

Optional sunrise guided game walk/drive in the company of an armed Kruger Ranger (optional extra). OR sunrise game
drive in the Ashtons vehicle in the company of your Ashtons guide (or sleep in and awake to the smell of coffee). Buffet breakfast at the camp restaurant, before packing up and saying goodbye to Kruger National Park. Drive with your guide back to Johannesburg/Pretoria along the Panorama Route (including God’s Window and Blyde River Canyon). Or fly back to Johannesburg from Nelspruit/Hoedspruit.
