Options: You can fly back from an airport close to Kruger or enjoy the scenic drive!

YOUR SAFARI DAY-BY-DAY

Day 1: Johannesburg/Pretoria to Mpumalanga

Drive with your guide or fly from Johannesburg to a town near to the Kruger National Park and transfer to the 4 star Hippo Hollow Country Estate (Hazyview). Check in and freshen up. Option: Either transfer into Kruger for some afternoon game viewing with your guide in the Ashtons vehicle; OR visit some of the scenic highlights of Mpumalanga. Overnight at the comfortable 4 star Hippo Hollow Country Estate, located close to Kruger National Park. * Meal plan: Dinner

Day 2: Kruger National Park

After an early breakfast, depart for Kruger National Park and a fantastic day of game viewing with your Ashtons guide in the
air-conditioned Ashtons vehicle. We stop at a Main Rest Camp where there is a chance to shop for curios. Option: Either after more game viewing we leave Kruger mid/late afternoon and visit some of the scenic highlights of Mpumalanga; OR spend a couple of extra hours in Kruger and return to Hippo Hollow at the very end of the day for sundowners. * Meal plan: Breakfast

Day 3: Alternative Options

After a more leisurely breakfast, depart for some of the scenic highlights of Mpumalanga with your Ashtons guide in the airconditioned Ashtons vehicle. Spend the day absorbing the beautiful scenery and historic sites of this magnificent area. Return to Hippo Hollow late in the day for sundowners and time to freshen up and relax. * Meal plan: Breakfast

Day 4: Mpumalanga to Johannesburg/Pretoria

Enjoy breakfast at your convenience before packing up and preparing for departure. Option: Either transfer early into Kruger for some morning game viewing with your guide in the Ashtons vehicle; OR visit some of the scenic highlights of Mpumalanga that you may not yet have seen. Drive with your guide back to Johannesburg/Pretoria by road, or fly back from Nelspruit/Hoedspruit. * Meal plan: Breakfast; Lunch
