Pick Up :

Location: Hotel/guesthouse/airport in Johannesburg /Pretoria/ Nelspruit/Hoedspruit.
Time: 06h00 (or the time that best suits you).
Options: You can fly closer to Kruger or enjoy the scenic drive!

Drop Off:

Location: Hotel/guesthouse/airport in Johannesburg/Pretoria/ Nelspruit/Hoedspruit.
Time: 18h00 (or the time that best suits you).
Options: You can fly back from an airport close to Kruger or enjoy the scenic drive!

Group Compostion:

Your group of family / friends only (2-8 people). Only people aged 12 and older may partake in guided game walks

Dining Inclusions:

4 Breakfasts; 4 Lunches; 4 Dinners; All hot & soft drinks; Local beers & wines (prepared & served by Ashtons staff)

Accommodation:

Unfenced big 5 safari camp(s). Permanent twin-bedded safari tents on raised wooden platforms, each with its own private deck and unique ‘concept’ ensuite bathroom. Comfortable & safe, even when the animals wander into camp

Vehicle:

Air-conditioned vehicles (a/c does not apply to the open game viewing vehicles). All driving will be done by your qualified Ashtons guide(s) and resident camp rangers.

YOUR SAFARI DAY-BY-DAY

Day 1: Johannesburg/Pretoria to the Greater Kruger National Park

Drive with your guide or fly from Johannesburg to a town near to the Kruger National Park and transfer into the Manyeleti Game Reserve. Afternoon guided game walk (2 hours) in the capable hands of qualified ranger and guide followed by sundowners. Evening guided game drive (2 hours) in open game-viewing vehicle led by qualified ranger and tracker, using spotlights after dark. Dinner at the main lapa followed by coffee/drinks around the campfire. Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner

Days 2, 3 & 4: Kruger National Park plus Manyeleti

Depart before sunrise for the neighbouring Kruger National Park and a fantastic day of game viewing with your Ashtons guide in the air-conditioned Ashtons vehicle. We stop at a Main Rest Camp where there is a chance to shop for curios. After more game viewing we leave Kruger mid/late afternoon and return to the tranquillity of Manyeleti. Evening guided game drive (2-3 hours), searching for the predators by spotlight after dark. Dinner at the main lapa followed by coffee/drinks around the campfire. Meal plan: Breakfast; Lunch; Dinner

Day 3 or 4: Alternative Option – Manyeleti Game Reserve

Sunrise guided game drive/walk (3 hours) in the capable hands of your qualified ranger & tracker. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure relaxing at camp - maybe even watching some animals walking past/through camp. Afternoon/evening guided game drive (3 hours), searching for the predators by spotlight after dark. Dinner at the main lapa followed by coffee/drinks around the campfire. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 5: Johannesburg/Pretoria via the Panorama Route

Option: Either a sunrise guided game drive/walk (3 hours) in the capable hands of your qualified ranger; OR sleep in and
awake to the smell of coffee (depending on option chosen on Day 1). Breakfast at the central lapa before packing up and
preparing for departure. Drive with your guide back to Johannesburg/Pretoria along the Panorama Route (including God’s
Window and Blyde River Canyon). Or fly back to Johannesburg from Nelspruit/Hoedspruit. Meal plan: Breakfast
