While enjoying the 3 Day Guided Kruger and 3-5 Day Personalised Kruger safaris in the Kruger National Park you will be accommodated in selected rest camps that are managed by the South African National Parks Board.

• The main rest camps have a wide variety of facilities such as curio shop, restaurant, swimming pool, petrol station, public phones, information centre, and a “sightings board” for Big 5 and other interesting wildlife.
• The smaller satellite camps do not have all the above facilities but are each located in close proximity to a main rest camp.
• All camps have electricity and are fenced – gates are closed between sunset and sunrise.
• On the Ashtons Kruger safaris you will be accommodated at one of the main rest camps in comfortable brick/stone bungalows with private en suite bathroom facilities (WC, shower and wash basin) and air-conditioning. Bedding and towels provided.

• If there is no availability for the above accommodation, alternative arrangements will be made and you will be advised accordingly.
• While staying in the park you will enjoy breakfasts and dinners at the camp restaurant from the delicious plentiful buffets.
• Lunches are for your own account and can be enjoyed at the camp restaurant or picnic areas.
• Free time during the day can be spent relaxing at your bungalow or enjoying the facilities mentioned above.

The Wolhuter Tented Safari takes place in a private concession with Kruger National Park. Accommodation is in the form of semi-luxury dome safari tents with comfortable stetcher beds and quality bedding. Please see the tours section for more information.
