Mantobeni Camp:

 

R2800 per person per night sharing – valid until 30 September 2008. No children under 12.

  Khoka Moya Camp:
 

R2800 per person per night sharing - valid until 30 September 2008

R1400 per child under 12 years per night sharing - valid until 30 September 2008

(Children under the age of 2 stay free of charge)

Single rate: a single supplement of R300 per person will only apply should there be more than 3 single tents required per reservation and then from the 3 rd single on.

  Includes:
 
  • Accommodation, all meals, beverages including wine, 2 game drives and one foot safari each day for adults, children's activities at Khoka Moya (only)

 

Excludes:

  • Transfers to and from the lodge, drinks where applicable and gratuities

LOCATION
  • Honeyguide Tented Safari Camps are situated in the Manyeleti Game Reserve in the Mpumalanga Province.
  • Manyeleti, meaning “Place of the Stars”, borders Kruger National Park , Sabi Sand and Timbavati and is a true Big Five Reserve.
  • You will arrive at Honeyguide Khoka Moya Camp. Guests going to Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp will park their vehicles at Honeyguide Khoka Moya Camp, and then be taken to Honeyguide Mantobeni Camp by Game viewing vehicles.
FACILITIES
  • Designed to reflect Hemingways' Africa, the 12 tented Mantobeni Camp is nestled in a Tamboti grove overlooking a dry river bed. The reception areas comprise a large sitting area, indoor and outdoor areas, bar and climate controlled wine cellar.
  • Game visiting the nearby watering hole can be seen from the swimming pool deck adjoining the reception areas. The tents are comfortably furnished with king-sized beds and soft leather couches. Each tent leads onto its own bathroom with concrete bath, double shower and separate toilet.
  • Khoka Moya Camp comprises 12 large tents furnished in a contemporary yet comfortable style. Each tent is en-suite with double shower and separate toilet. A private outdoor seating area in front of each tent allows guests to relax and take in sights and sounds of the bush.
  • The reception areas reflect the contemporary design of architect Enrico Daffonchio and are built of steel, corrugated iron and recycled timber. The large lounge and dining areas of the camp overlook manicured green lawns leading to the swimming pool.
  • Drawing from the expertise of our award-winning chef at Sides Restaurant, the meals served at Honeyguide reflect the philosophy of simplicity, quality and the best fresh produce. Most dietary requirements are catered for, provided prior arrangements have been made.

ACTIVITIES

  • Guests awake to the sound of beating drums and tea or coffee is served in the tents.
  • Safaris in open game drive vehicles, led by experienced and qualified guides and trackers, are conducted in the early mornings and late afternoon / evenings.
  • A foot safari is undertaken after breakfast, with emphasis on the abundant bird, insect and plant life surrounding the camps.
  • Guests may also choose to relax by the pool or browse through the small library at each camp.
